Nadine Yura - Calligraphy of Color

What better way of celebrating the start of Fall than a painting of apples!  A Red Delicious Apple, a Granny Smith Apple and a Silver Apple. Yes, a silver apple. This beautiful silver apple is actually an aperitif server. Inside are six beautifully etched, extremely delicate glasses. This family treasure was always displayed on the coffee table of my parents home. Unfortunately, I am not sure where or how they acquired it. My husband says it came from the Silver Apple tree :). I love the dapples of light and color reflected in the apple! Please enjoy "Dapple Apples" 6" x 6" Oil on Panel.
